Note that the mouth is always open because upper airway congestion has made patients obligatory mouth breathers ,snoring is almost always present ,you may notice a nasal crease across the lower third of the nose results from chronic upward rubbing of the nose with the hand (allergic salute ) to releive itching and open the nasal cavity
