In Indian Cinema, if you are looking for a movie that could break all current records(only in box office terms), you cannot look beyond 2.O or Enthiran 2.
The movie is said to be the costliest ever Indian movie. I don't support this over spending, just saying that it is the costliest.
The movie not only has Rajnikanth; to add to the box of strength, it also stares Akshay Kumar. And needless to be said, it has the brand SHANKAR.
This movie has all the potential to break the first day and possibly the lifetime collections of Dangal or a Bahubali 2.

I personally think that the upcoming film of Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and Rajnikant, 2.0 will surely record all the previous records of Indian cinema. The movie has the best VFX and CGI effects till now, as claimed by Filmmakers.
The movie has the music direction of The AR Rahman, so surely it has the best songs. Recently some songs of the film are released and public loved them.

So there are already two answers regarding Bollywood so I’ll say drop a Hollywood one here.
I think that Avengers : Infinty War will probably break every record, mainly regarding Superhero genre.
Its trailer release itself broke many records.
The huge Star cast, Amazing characters & huge hype will definitely help this one break every records.
