He stirred a HritikMania, which continued for months in the whole nation, on 14th January 2000, with his debut movie, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai..!!! So much was his craze, that he eventually got around 30,000 marriage proposals on Valentine's day, 2000..!!! :D
His total income from product endorsements in 2000 was estimated to be INR 20 crore..!!! Which was, by far the most among Bollywood stars..!!!

Although, in-spite of all his commercial success… he often avoids handling his finances..!!! His wife (when married) and (now) parents take care of his financial details..!!!

Hrithik is very fond of photography..!!! He used to document his daily life for many years by taking pictures and putting them in scrapbooks..!!!

Did you know that he wanted to quit the film business altogether after his father Rakesh Roshan was shot at and wounded by hitmen sent by the Bollywood mafia..??? But he changed his mind afterwards..!!!
